Andy Turnipseed Obituary

A graveside service to celebrate the life of Andrew Turnipseed's 61 years of life is scheduled at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, at Resthaven Memorial Park Cemetery. He died on Friday, March 28, 2025.
Andy was born April 2, 1963, to JT and Rita Duran Turnipseed in Roswell, NM. He married Cyndi Craghead on March 1, 1985 in Lubbock, TX.
Andy was a man who loved his family fiercely. His greatest joy was being a father and grandfather. His devotion to his family, especially his grandchildren, was unmatched. He found endless happiness in their laughter and the moments spent together. He was also madly in love with his wife of 40 years, Cyndi. Their marriage was built on unwavering support, and a bond that only grew stronger with time.
His love for music was just as strong, with a particular devotion to 80s hair metal. If it had soaring guitars, big vocals, and big hair he demanded for it be played at full volume. Simply enjoying music shaped his life, his passion was infectious.
Andy was also a lifelong sports fan, with a deep love for baseball, football, and hockey.
Andy is survived by his wife, Cyndi Turnipseed; children, Dr. Hunter (Heather) Turnipseed, Kelsey (Shane) Fleming, Troy Turnipseed; grandchildren, Kaelynn Turnipseed, Mason Turnipseed, Zoey Fleming, and Ace Fleming. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He will be remembered for his unwavering love, his generous heart, and his legendary taste in music. His legacy lives on in the family he adores.
