Brendon Dwayne Standifer, 53, of Lubbock, TX, passed away on March 25, 2025 at home. Born on August 14, 1971 in Valparaiso, Indiana, he was the beloved son of Jerry and Juanice Standifer.
Brendon was known for his quick wit and humor, his love of football, music, and Star Wars. After graduating with a bachelors from Wayland Baptist University he spent the majority of his career as a long-haul truck driver and explored much of the United States. When Brendon made his way back home to Lubbock, he could be found attending local High School football games and marching band competitions, going to the movies with friends, and spending time with his family. Brendon had a special affinity for building Star Wars Legos sets and spent his last years building up an admirable collection. He was loved by many friends and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Brendon is survived by his mother, Juanice, his sister, Kathy Espinoza and her husband, Ray Espinoza, and his nieces Michelle Shams and Jennifer Espinoza. He is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Standifer.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Standifer Residence. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Trevor Project.
