Carol Maslankowski, born on February 2, 1946, in Queens, New York, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, in Cincinnati, Ohio. She lived a life dedicated to service and family, leaving an indelible mark on all who knew her.
A graduate of high school, Carol's education laid the foundation for a life filled with rich experiences and personal growth. She was known not only for her hard work but for the warmth and compassion she brought into her everyday interactions. Carol devoted many years to the Food Service department at Longwood Middle School in Middle Island, where her kindness and dedication nourished countless students. Her commitment to feeding and caring for children extended beyond her professional career; it was a reflection of her nurturing spirit and love for community.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Al Maslankowski, with whom she shared a deep and enduring partnership. She was the proud mother of five: son Albert Maslankowski and his wife Kirsten; daughter Annamarie Levy and her husband Sean; daughter Carol Ann White and her husband Michael; daughter Robin Lucenti and her husband Andrew; and son Brian Maslankowski and his wife Janet. Her legacy lives on through her numerous grandchildren, to whom she was a cherished grandmother and great-grandmother. She is also survived by her sisters, Jeanette Darienzo and Francine Weissberger. While she is mourned deeply by her family and friends, Carol is also reunited in spirit with her beloved parents, Nicholas and Frances Lacerenza, who predeceased her as well as her two (2) brothers, Vincent & Rosario Lacerenza.
Carol Maslankowski will be remembered for her generosity, her love of family, and her commitment to serving others. She touched the lives of many and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
