Daniel O'Donnell, Jr. Obituary

Daniel James O’Donnell Jr., 83 years, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 27, 2025. He was a devoted husband of 59 years to Suzanne O’Donnell (nee Biehle), loving father to Meredith Santoni (Mike), and cherished Papa to Corey Santoni (Nicole Bendush), Hannah Santoni and Sean Santoni. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel James and Elizabeth Ann O’Donnell. Dan was the oldest brother to Pat Krey (late Tom), Peggy Statzer (Dave), Mimi Fife (Bob), Mark O’Donnell (Jill), Betsy Everingham (Mark) and Bill O’Donnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Dan attended St. Xavier High School, completed his Jesuit education at Xavier University and was a loyal Musketeers fan. Dan loved spending any nice day hitting balls on the golf course, tailgating the day away during a Notre Dame football weekend, and especially treasured his time spent with family and lifelong friends. Dan will be remembered by his big smile and great sense of Irish humor, loyalty to family and friends, and ability to never forget a name or face.

Mass for Dan’s celebration of life will be held at St. Rose Church (2501 Riverside Dr., Cincinnati, OH 45202), on Saturday, April 5, 10:00 a.m.
