Darby Etheredge Obituary

Darby Irene Etheredge 67, passed away on Feb 3rd 2026 in Leesburg, Florida. She was born on May 2nd 1958 in Gainesville, Florida to James and Joyce Etheredge. She was of the Christian Faith. Darby was a wonderful human being. She loved to help people; she would go out of her way to brighten someone's day. She was also a huge animal lover. Darby graduated high school at South Sumter High School in Bushnell where she was a majorette. She was a Florist by trade, and she also owned a pawn shop at one time. She is survived by her brothers: James Stephen Etheredge of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida, and Daniel Obrien Etheredge, of Bushnell, Florida; sister: Melinda Joyce Etheredge of Bushnell, Florida; nieces, Nichole Ramputi, Alexis (Darren) Ramputi; nephews: Mark (Analin) Ramputi, Matt Ramputi. Many Great Nieces and Nephews. She is proceeded in death by her parents James and Joyce Etheredge, sister Julie Etheredge, Husband David Newsome. A celebration of life will be
