Mrs. Darlene Warren Long, 79, passed away on April 2, 2025, at her home in Tobaccoville. She was born on December 14, 1945, in Forsyth County to the late Macon Albert Warren and Opal Beamon Warren. Darlene worked in administration for the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System for 20 years. She then retired from Wells Fargo bank in 2006. Darlene enjoyed sewing, reading, and playing pickle ball. She also loved spending time with her cat. In addition to her parents, Darlene was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Warren. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Dennis Dale Long, one sister, Shannun Breier (John), one brother, Michael Warren (Cynthia), one niece, Debra Bogart, and numerous extended family members. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday April 11, 2025, at Crestview Memorial Park.
