David Silva Obituary

David Juan Silva, 37, of Lubbock, passed away on Friday, February 14, 2025. He was born on September 2, 1987 in Plainview, Texas to Juan Silva and Sylvia Rodriguez. David was a man with a big heart, he had so much love to give away, and he did just that! He was a loving son, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, father figure, cousin, and friend. David was a loyal friend, and had a special love for his family, especially his nieces and nephews, new baby being added to the family? You could always count on David being there. He loved to make people laugh, and he always cared a smile on his face. He never met a stranger, always making new friends wherever he was. David stepped up to the plate on a lot of occasions that life brought him, he enjoyed being a father-figure to many family members and friends. He will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Sylvia Rodriguez and Juan Silva; siblings, Azeneth Gillit and husband, Casey, Marilyn Vasquez and husband, Louis, Anel Olivo and husband, Ben, Eric Silva and wife, Sydney; girlfriend, Ashley and children, Kaeson and Kenley; 6 nephews; 9 nieces; 2 great-nephews; 11 great-nieces; numerous extended family members and friends.
David was preceded in death by his grandparents, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. ~ 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately follows at 2:00 p.m. at House of Angels Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation services are under the direction of House of Angels Funeral Home.
