It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jesse Holguin on March 6, 2025, in Lubbock, Texas. Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at 11 am at Church on the Rocks, North Campus. Interment will follow at the City of Lubbock Cemetery under the direction of Griffin Mortuary. Visitations will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm at Griffin Mortuary. Jesse was born on November 13, 1990, to his loving mother and father Amelia Duarte and Jesus Holguin. Leaving behind a legacy of love and resilience in his hometown of Lubbock, Texas.
Jesse grew up surrounded by the warm embrace of family and faith. Jesse brought with him an energy and joy that was unique among those who knew him. His vibrant, bubbly, and often funny personality was a source of warmth on the cloudiest days. Though his journey on Earth was brief, the impact of his life was profound. As a devoted Christian with a moderately religious spirit, Jesse's faith guided him in both challenging and uplifting times.
He was a devoted father and loved spending time with his children. Jesse had many hobbies that brought him joy, including to wepa, freestyle rap, grito, working hard, hustling, spending time with his family and friends, playing games, dressing up, partying, listening to music, and always keeping himself looking fly. Jesse will be remembered for his infectious energy, love for life, and commitment to his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jesse is survived by his six children, Zuriyah, Jessalynn, Adelena, MaddyRose, Jesse, and Holly Holguin, a host of other relatives and friends.
