Kevin Hahn Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Chambers & Grubbs Funeral Home - Walton on Mar. 25, 2025.
Obituary of Kevin Hahn
Kevin Edward Hahn, 54, of Walton, KY, passed away suddenly on March 22, 2025. Born in Cincinnati, OH on October 24, 1970.
Kevin possessed an industrious, iron- clad work ethic. He was always working to provide for those he loved" A "tin-knocker" who hung ductwork, Kevin worked as an installation technician for commercial HVAC and had a pretty impressive resume. Previous projects included Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati and the dormitories at University of Kentucky and many more large-scale industrial jobs.
There were special moments, however, not filled with work. Kevin loved to go to the track and watch horse racing. He was a skilled deer hunter and enjoyed the placid peace of casting a line out on Harrington Lake. Kevin knew a good steak and appreciated a cold Budweiser. He was affectionate as much as he was devoted and will be so substantially missed.
Kevin was the adored boyfriend of 16 years to Cathy Cox; dear son to birth mother Melanie Goble (Dale Emminger) and step-son to Thomas "Tom" Tuemler; treasured brother to Karen Willmann, Mary Beth Hahn, and Chris Hahn; cherished uncle to Emily, Hillary, and Natalie. Kevin also loved and will be missed by his former sister-in-law Carol Farris and childhood best friend Chris Haas as well as good friend Terry Wilson.
Kevin was preceded in death by his adoptive mother, Barbara Hahn Tuemler. Barbara loved Kevin dearly for well over 50 years. Kevin was also preceded in death by his good friend and hunting buddy, George Griffin.
A gathering of friends will be held for Kevin on Friday, March 28, 2025, at Chambers and Grubbs Funeral Home, 45 Main St. Walton, KY, 41094. Friends and family will gather to share memories, find solace in one another's company, and honor the legacy he leaves behind from 4:00 PM until shortly before the time of the memorial service at 6:00 PM (also at the funeral home).
