Pete Gonzales Obituary
He was an artisan – skilled carpenter who built beautiful pieces of furniture. He also worked on countless of remodelings.
He enjoyed traveling with his wife and visited Europe and Canada.
He was preceded in death by his infant son Jeremiah Gonzales, his parents Pedro & Ofelia Gonzales and his oldest sister Sylvia Pina.
Pete is survived by his loving and dedicated wife of 25 years Roda, his 2 sons Eric (Misty) Gonzales and Isaiah Gonzales; grandsons Davien, Oliver and Zevion; sisters Cindy de la Garza and Norma (Felix) Dela Rosa.
We ask that you remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way it was lived and for the deep impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
We are grateful to all caregivers and doctors at Joe Arrington Cancer Center, Interim Hospice and Home Instead. Special Thanks to Josh Teaff for his loving support.
In lieu of flowers we ask that you donate to your favorite charity, Lubbock Meals on Wheels, or Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

Pete and I became good friends over the years. Pete helped me completely remodel our house and was such a great man. He could literally do anything and his knowledge was remarkable. He was kind and very low key and I'm proud to call Pete my friend. Condolences to the family. He will be greatly missed.
