This is his Aunt Nina, sister of his father. I didn't get to really know Peeler until his father starting have memory issues. We bonded our friendship from that time on. I got to know him as he navigated the difficult task of getting his father in a memory care unit. This was not an easy thing to do but Peeler did not give up. He wanted to make sure his Father was safe and cared for in a loving manner. Peeler was my Ancestry Buddie and we talked a lot about family and where we came from. As Hollaway's we were told that we were Irish and some Indian and Ann (his Mother) was told the same thing. Well guess what, we are mainly Swedish, Scottish and English. Very little Irish and no Indian...who knew. I wish I could be there today but at 82 I don't travel very well. But my thoughts and prays are with the family and friends. Love you.
