Roger E. Wynn Sr., 68, of Jamestown, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025, at Terrace View Long Term Care Facility in Buffalo, NY.
He was born February 24, 1957, in Jamestown, NY, the son of the late Wilson E Wynn Sr and Reva (Childers) Wynn.
Roger worked at Swanson Potato Chip Factory, Sanitary Wiping Cloth, and Jamestown Iron Works for several years before retiring.
Roger enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar, singing, dancing, hanging out at bonfires and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving are his 5 children Roxanne Wynn (Greg Huddleson) of Jamestown. Bethann Wynn of Jamestown, Carrie Bromley (Tim Bromley) of Jamestown, Kenneth Wynn of Jamestown, and Roger Wynn Jr. of Jamestown; 19 grandchildren, Chance (Jayma) Price, Jeremiah (Anastasia) Price, Gregory Huddleson, John Dickerson, Haley Glover, Katie Glover (James), Wilbert (Martina) Glover II, Deanna (James) Purdey, Troy Dunn, Nathan Dunn, Rebecca Shannon, Erin Wynn, Austin Wynn, Collin (Cadance) Wynn, Laura Greenawalt, Aiden Greenawalt, Logan MacDonald, Michael MacDonald, and Peyton MacDonald-Wynn, 26 great grandchildren, a great granddaughter due in April and his siblings Tina Nelson, Frank Wynn, Richard Hardwick and Wayne Hardwick.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Vanessa Wynn, and his two brothers Wilson (Bud) Wynn Jr., John Wynn, a son-in-law Wilbert Glover Sr., infant granddaughter and two great granddaughters Brooklyn MacDonald, Amaya Huddleson and Sofya Glover.
The funeral will be held at 1 pm on March 5, 2025, at the Lind Funeral Home. Friends will be received an hour prior to the service from 12 to 1 pm in the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Sunset Hill Cemetery. A celebration of life dinner to follow at The Celoron Legion at 4pm.
