Rosalie Ann Miller departed for heaven on January 24, 2026, in Goshen, Indiana.
Rosalie was born on July 18, 1935, to Eli and Ruby Yoder in Lagrange County, Indiana. Rosalie spent her youth between Florida and Middlebury having graduated from Middlebury High School in 1953. During her Florida time she attended many Boston Red Sox spring training games where she enjoyed collecting autographs of her favorite players including Dom DiMaggio and Ted Williams. Rosalie remained a huge sports fan throughout her life.
Rosalie married R. Dale Miller on June 19, 1954, in Middlebury where they raised their two daughters, Deb (Richard) Armington-Mishawaka and Penny (Steve) Martin-Warsaw. They were longtime members of Brenneman Memorial Missionary Church, Goshen where Rosalie served in the office in her later years. Rosalie was the Office Manager for many years at Schult Homes. Rosalie and Dale spent their later years at Spring Brooke, Goshen where they enjoyed taking walks, riding bikes, taking trips with friends, including Australia, Canada, Colorado, Arizona and New England, as well as attending many grandchildren’s school events.
Rosalie was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years and her parents. She is survived by her two daughters, six grandchildren: Danielle (Kevin) Trulock-Zionsville, IN, Brock (Laura) Armington-Castle Rock, CO, Arick Armington-Louisville, KY, Taylor Weaver-Elkhart, Petty Officer 1st Class Neil Martin-Rota Naval Base, Rota, Spain, Tara Martin-Mishawaka. Ten great-grandchildren, Hattie, Eliza, August, Archer, Sawyer, Wells, Delilah, Forrest, Daisy, Millie. A sister, Sara Detweiler-Moline, IL, and several special cousins. A private service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff of Majestic Care and Heart to Heart Hospice for their loving care.
