Sena Hammond Obituary

Sena Ann Hammond, 83, of Villa Hills, beloved member of the Erlanger Baptist Church for over 40 years, a dedicated primary School Teacher and housewife, passed away on March 24, 2025, at Madonna Manor in Villa Hills. Born on June 17, 1941, in Kingsport, Tennessee, Sena's life was marked by her unwavering faith, commitment to education, and deep love for her family.

Sena was a guiding light to many during her extensive career in education, where she inspired countless students with her passion and dedication. Her long-standing membership at Erlanger Baptist Church underscored her strong spiritual commitment and provided her with a supportive community she cherished.

She is mourned by her loving husband, Emmett Hammond, and her devoted children, son Keith Hammond and his wife Amy, and daughter Keri O'Connell and husband Tom,  along with her sister Cathy Chase and niece BethAnn Chase. Sena took great joy in her life as a grandmother to six grandchildren, Hillary, Emily, Steven, Erin, Meghan and Molly, sharing special moments and creating lasting memories that her family will carry with them always.

Sena was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene Wallen and Maude Osborne Wallen, who instilled in her the values of hard work and compassion that she embodied throughout her life.

A visitation will be held Saturday, March 29, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service from 11:00 AM, both at Madonna Manor Assisted Living Facility located at 2344 Amsterdam Rd, Villa Hills, KY 41017. Burial to follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.

Sena Ann Hammond's legacy will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness, intelligence, and the love she shared with everyone around her.
