STEVE J. SCHWARTZ, 70, of Park Hills, Kentucky, passed away on March 23, 2025. He was born on
August 20, 1954 in Covington, Kentucky to the late Arthur and Julianna (Fritz) Schwartz. Steve was a
graduate of Covington Catholic High School and Northern Kentucky University. He was a long time
accountant for Shillito’s/Shillito-Rike’s/Lazarus Department Store, and later worked for the Internal
Revenue Service. Steve was an amazing uncle that was willing to do just about anything the kids wanted
to do, he taught them all the old games he played when he was growing up, and they loved every
minute of it. Steve’s laugh was infectious. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his
brother, Daniel Schwartz. He is survived by his siblings, Mark Schwartz, Donna (Bernie) Wessels and
Kevin Schwartz, dear friend Chris Schwartz, 5 nephews, 1 niece, 2 great nephews, and 1 great niece.
Honoring his request, services will be private. Memorial contributions are suggested to: Sisters of Notre
