Wayde Fontenot Obituary

Wayde Scott Fontenot, a beloved father & brother passed away on February 26, 2025, at the age of 56. Born on July 23, 1968, Wayde lived a life filled with passion, creativity, and love, leaving behind a legacy that will be celebrated by all who knew him.

Wayde was a talented painter in the automotive industry, known for his dedication to his craft and the joy he brought to his work. His artistic spirit shone brightly, and he was proud of the beautiful projects he left behind. He found great fulfillment in his profession, but his greatest joy came from his family.

Wayde was preceded in death by: Dinah STEIN, Jonny Fontenot, Alzina Fontenot.

Wayde is survived by his four children: daughter Amanda Yost, and sons Slayde, Christopher, and Casey Fontenot. He is also survived by his brother, Trent Gaspard, and sister, Julie Roberts, who will forever cherish their memories with him.

In honor of Wayde's vibrant life, friends and family are invited to join in remembrance and celebration. A public viewing will be held at Simple Traditions by Johnson on March 7, 2025, starting at 2:00 PM, followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. All those who knew Wayde are encouraged to come and share stories, laughter, and love, as we honor a man who truly embodied the spirit of life.
