We were in the middle of planning a roofing project with Paul. We were waiting for him to get back to us with final plans. So sorry for his family. He seemed like a great guy. He was so proud of his sons.

Paul was very friendly and engaging. I went fishing with him twice and was looking forward to spending more time with him. My deepest condolences to his family. There will never be another Paul.

I was also a fishing buddy of Paul´s. He was so much fun to hang with, witty, sarcastic, funny, but most of all very personable. He worked had, fished hard, and loved his family and friends. He will be sorely missed, Neah Bay will never be the same for me..

I loved fishing with Paul, our trips were always filled with laughter and good natured jibs with each other. Our favorite saying on his boat was "Best day ever" and an occasional " why is this so hard? These fish have a brain the size of a pea". I will miss our trips but remember them with love. Paul never met a stranger and always found a way to connect with everyone he met.
