JEROLYN LYON Obituary

JEROLYN LYON Jerolyn A. Lyon, age 86 passed away on March 23, 2025 at Kenwood Plaza, St. John, KS. She was born on Oct. 3, 1938 at Seiling, OK, the daughter of Ross M. and Blanche (Dedrick) Archer. She was a PARA educator, pastor's wife, clerical worker and provided child care for many years. She was raised in the Friends church and most recently attended the Nazarene Church in Larned, KS. On June 1, 1958, she married Leroy E. Lyon at Seiling, OK, he survives. Other survivors include two sons, Kenton (Kimberly) Lyon, Hays, KS, Lyndon (Lynda) Lyon, St. John, KS; a sister, Joan Bostian, Tahlequah, OK; four grandchildren, Kaley (Jerome) Conner, Richard Lyon, Jeffrey Lyon, Jonathan Lyon; two great grandchildren, Shane Conner and Kinley Conner; a brother-in-law, Scott Jackman, Pratt, KS; many nieces, nephews and other family. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jessica Lyon and a sister, Lois Jackman. A private family graveside service will be in the Haviland Community Cemetery, Haviland, KS.
