Barbara Tiell Obituary
Barbara T. Tiell, 79, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, September 7, 2025, at Mercy Health - St. Vincent Hospital.
Barbara was born August 2, 1946, in Tiffin, to the late Ludwig and Theresa (Nye) Reinhart. She married Joseph Tiell at Frenchtown Catholic Church August 6, 1966, and he preceded her in death September 2, 1983.
Other survivors include her children, Sherry (Tim) Runion and Theresa Tiell both of Tiffin; three grandchildren, Joseph Snyder, Barbara Jo Brown, and Melissa Guzman; two great-grandchildren, Beckett Guzman and Kylo Brown; and three sisters, Rosemary Bland, Tillie Wentz and Martha Heyman, all of Tiffin.
Barbara retired from Ameriwood and was a member of both Tiffin Moose Lodge and St. Mary Catholic Church. She was a 1964 graduate of New Riegel High School. Barbara's two great-grandchildren were the light of her life!
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and four brothers, John, Carl, Paul and Robert Reinhart.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 a.m. Monday, September 15, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church. A Rosary will be prayed 30 minutes prior to Mass at church. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin. Burial will follow service at Seneca Memory Gardens.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Seneca County Humane Society.
