Carrie A. Vukich

Carrie Ann (Lint) Vukich, 47, passed away Friday, July 5, 2024, at her home in Annandale, Virginia.

Carrie was born April 5, 1977, in Tiffin, to Carole (Cihonski) and the late Morris Lint. She graduated from University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor's degree in business and later received a master's degree from George Mason University with a specialty in Telecommunications. Carrie enjoyed her work in computer security very much. Growing up, she took several years of ballet classes and really enjoyed being in school theatre productions and choir. She looked forward to visiting amusement parks in the summer and was especially a fan of roller coasters. She had a life-long love of Renaissance festivals and took her daughters each autumn to enjoy the shows, shops, and costumes. She also scheduled many family activities and outings such as theatre plays, concerts, and family game and movie nights. So many games of Settlers of Catan, Dominos, Fantasy Forest, and Shanghai! Carrie had just experienced a wonderful evening of great fireworks with her daughter, Matilda, and some friends for July 4th.

Carrie is survived by her daughters, Madeline and Matilda; their father, Adam Vukich of Springfield, Virginia; mother, Carole Lint of Alexandria, Virginia; brother, Eric Lint of Ellicott City, Maryland; sister, Shannon (Eric) Garrison of Corsicana, Texas; sister, Morgan (Tommy) Lehnhardt of Waxhaw, North Carolina; and nieces and nephews, Myla, Will Parker, Brynn, Jack, and Sadie.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 13, 2024, until the time of Carrie's funeral at 1 p.m. at Meek and Dalla Valle Funeral Home in Windber, Pennsylvania. Fr. Rod will preside. Interment will follow at St. John Cantius Catholic Cemetery. Carrie's favorite color was purple, so feel free to wear something purple or tie-dye in her honor. A luncheon will follow immediately after her service at Perkin's restaurant by the Galleria mall.
