David Nordholt Obituary
David I. Nordholt, 69, died Monday, February 24, 2025. Dave is preceded in death by parents, John B. "Jack" Nordholt II and Joanne Pedigo Nordholt; brother, John B. Nordholt III; and brother-in-law, Thomas Hunnicut.
He is survived by sons, Jack (Annie), Peter, and Samuel Nordholt; and their mother, Laure Schoedinger; granddaughters, Hattie and Hannah; sisters, Jane Elizabeth Nordholt (Richard Hughes) and Ann Hunnicut.
Dave graduated from Columbian High School in Tiffin. He attended Ohio Wesleyan University, where he played football, and The Ohio State University, where he graduated with a degree in industrial design. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all. His passion for creating and collecting various forms of art and music allowed those close to Dave to experience his sweet soul.
Celebration of Life Service will be at 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Schoedinger Worthington, 6699 N. High St, with a reception to follow. Interment Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin, at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of the Smithsonian, www.si.edu, in his memory.

The loss of my good friend, David I Nordholt A.K.A "Nort", is a stunning shock. Nort was a most loved, loyal, lifetime friend (50 plus years). My loving thoughts go out to Jack and Annie, little Hattie, Hannah, Peter, Sam, Laure, Beth, Richard, and Ann. So very sorry. Bart

My heart hurts once again as we say goodbye to yet another of the Nordholt clan cousins. We had so much fun together over the years. My thoughts and prayers are with Jack and Annie, Hattie and Hannah, Peter, Sam, Laure, Beth and Richard, and Ann. Love to you all.
