Delores Jane "Dee" Allen

Delores "Dee" Jane Allen, 89, of Willard, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 9, 1937, in Muncie, Indiana, to the late Leon and Edith (Jackson) Quisenberry.

Dee retired from RR Donnelley in 2000. Throughout her life, she made and donated hundreds of crochet baby quilts to non-profit organizations. She also enjoyed composing and researching her family's heritage. Most of all, Dee loved spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by five children, Dianna (Dick) Ruehle, Cindy Bishop, Dane (Susan) Allen, Deborah (Allen) Leininger, and Duane (Patti) Allen; two brothers, Ronald (Sunday) Quisenberry and John (Cindy) Quisenberry; sister-in-law, Sandy Quisenberry; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three sisters and a brother.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. until time of her funeral service at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 22, 2026, at Secor Funeral Home in Willard, with Pastor Greg Griffith officiating. There will be a private burial at Maple Grove Cemetery in New Haven at a later date.
