Gloria Lautzenhiser Obituary

Gloria Lautzenhiser

Gloria Jean (Snavely) Lautzenhiser died Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at her home. She was born December 8, 1944, in Republic, to Warren and Eleanore Snavely. On October 14, 1961, she married Richard (Dick) Lautzenhiser from Tiffin.

Gloria loved to travel and spend time with her family. Gloria loved to cook.

Gloria worked for Galion Hospital for over 30 years as a supervisor in the dietary department.

She was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodge of Galion, where she helped with Special Wish of Crawford County.

Left to cherish her memory are her two daughters, Laurie (George) Davis of Ocean Springs Mississippi, and Lisa (Shawn) Smith of Galion; her sisters, Betty Shock of Bloomville and Debbie Snavely of Perrysburg; sister-in-law, Carol (Jim) Hepp of Marblehead; eight grandchildren, Nicole (Billy) Meyers, Brittney Davis, Katie Lautzenhiser, Brandon Davis, Mathew (Alyssa) Morasco, Sara Lautzenhiser Hunter Smith, and Gavin Smith; and seven great-grandchildren, Rylynn, Riley, Elijah, Maverick, Isaiah, Axel and Miles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dick Lautzenhiser and son, Rick Lautzenhiser.

Richardson Davis Chapel of Snyder Funeral Homes in Galion is honored to serve the family of Gloria Lautzenhiser.
