Jack M. Snay

Jack M. Snay, 81, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at his home.

He was born May 22, 1943, in Tiffin to Dorothy Wuescher. He married Linda Miller and they later divorced.

He is survived by his son, James (Michelle) Snay of Republic; daughter, Jennifer Daniel of Tiffin; ex-wife, Linda Snay-Wymer of Tiffin; sisters, Sue Ann (Dan) Steinhauser of Tiffin and Sharon Whiteman of South Carolina; and grandchildren, Austin Snay, Kaitlyn Daniel, Kadin Snay, Nicholas Daniel and Alexa Snay.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Lynch; stepfather, Thomas Lynch; and brother, Paul Snay.

Jack was a 1962 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School. After high school, he served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964 and remained in the Reserves until 1966. He retired as a production supervisor after 36 years from Tiffin Enterprise and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Eagles 402, and AMVETS Post 48. Jack always had a pocket of mints, enjoyed golfing in the senior league at Clinton Heights, bowling, hunting, fishing and he loved watching his grandchildren in all their activities.

His graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by United Veterans Council.

Memorial contributions may be made to a local Veteran's group.
