Marie Vera Obituary
Marie C. Vera, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at Elmwood at The Shawhan.
She was born April 5, 1940, in Tiffin to Richard and Louise (Ruffing) Zirger. On April 30, 1957, in St. Joseph Catholic Church, she married the love of her life, Joe Vera. He passed away July 16, 2013.
Together they had five children, Christine (Michael) Mundschau, Mark (Becki) Vera of Buford, Georgia, Tony (Tina) Vera of Tucson, Arizona, Jeanne (Bryan) Ardner of Garner, North Carolina, and Daniel (Marsha) Vera of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Vera; and her daughter, Christine in 2014
Marie was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and sang in the choir and funeral choir. Marie loved flower gardening, being outdoors, ice cream and most of all being with her family.
A Funeral Mass will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 15, 2025, at St. Francis Convent with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. A luncheon will follow in the Upper Room at St. Joseph Activity Center.
Memorial contribu-tions may be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church Focus on the Family or to a charity of the donor's choice.

So sorry to learn of Marie's passing. I met Marie through my niece, Candice Cranmore. What a sweet person. To know her was to love her. I feel very blessed to have had her come into me life. My heartfelt sympathy to the family.

So many fond memories with Uncle Joe and Aunt Marie. She was a beautiful lady inside and out. I know she has been reunited with her entire family in heaven. My thoughts and prayers are with my cousins and all that loved her. May she RIP .
