Marlene SanGregory Obituary
Marlene C. SanGregory, 87, of Tiffin, died at 4:28 a.m. Friday, Aug. 4, 2023, at The Willows at Tiffin.
Marlene was born Aug. 29, 1935, in New Riegel, to Emmanuel and Anna (Urban) Brickner. She married James SanGregory on Feb. 14, 1956, in New Riegel, and he died Dec. 4, 1993.
Marlene's survivors include a son, James SanGregory of Tiffin; daughter, Lynn Ross of Tiffin; four grandchildren, James Ross, Kirk Ross, Dana Edwards, and Dominic SanGregory; great-granddaughter, Ivy Ross; and brother, Harland Brickner of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and seven siblings, Father Peter Brickner, Alberta Czynick, Eunice Howard, James Brickner, Robert Brickner, Emmanuel Brickner Jr., and Annabelle Seiling.
Marlene was a graduate of New Riegel High School, longtime employee of San-Mar Pharmacy, then later Rite Aid, and she was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.
Visitation for family and friends will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023, until the time of Marlene's funeral at 11 a.m. at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, 419-447-3113. Burial will be private at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery. A celebration of her life will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to ProMedica Hospice or The Willows at Tiffin.
