Mary L. Fouts

Mary L. (Veliquette) Fouts, 81, of Fostoria, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2024, at ProMedica Toledo Hospital.

She was born Feb. 19, 1942, in Arcadia, to Nelson D. and Martha L. (Brookman) Veliquette. She married James Loving and to that union they had two children, Gail and Jimmy. She then married Donald Deuble Sr. and to that union they had three children, Donald Jr., Greg and Chad. She then married Brian Fouts and he preceded her in death.

Mary is survived by five children, Jimmy (Janice) Loving of Middlefield, Gail Miles of Weston, Donald (Tina) Deuble Jr. of Fostoria, Greg (Audra) Deuble of Fostoria, and Chad Deuble of Fremont; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sister, Marilyn (Ed) Williamson of Fostoria; and several nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; brother, David; and sister-in-law, Sharon.

Mary was a member of Hope Lutheran Church in Fostoria and enjoyed listening to gospel and country music. She loved spending time with her family and making memories. She also loved her two cats, Boots and Oreo. Mary also enjoyed collecting dolls and angels and going to garage sales with her mom.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 22, 2024, until the time of Mary's funeral at 1 p.m. at MANN-HARE-HOENING FUNERAL HOME, 407 N. Countyline St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Vicar Jacinda Jones will preside. Following the funeral, there will be a funeral luncheon at Trinity Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Private burial will be at Arcadia Cemetery.
