Nancy H. Hagenmaier

Nancy H. Hagenmaier, 83, of Kettering and formerly of Fostoria, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2024, in Kettering.

She was born April 7, 1940, in Fostoria, to Chancie and Eva (Morrison) Bostic. She married James E. Hagenmaier on July 16, 1960, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, and he preceded her in death May 7, 2016.

Nancy is survived by three children, Sue (Cliff) Novak of Fairview Park, Mark (Lori) Hagenmaier of Beavercreek, and Andy (Melissa) Hagenmaier of Cincinnati; 11 grandchildren, Nick Novak, Halley Novak, Noel McMacken, Rebecca Weigel, Rachel Thompson, Josh Howe, Emily Fischer, Audrey Hagenmaier, Alexis Sapp, Aiden Hagenmaier, and Gavin Hagenmaier; and six great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, Joseph "Joe" Hagenmaier (2008); and five siblings, Leta Butzier, Dorothy Douglas, Harry Bostic, Forest Bostic, and Floyd Bostic.

Nancy retired from Gray Printing, worked at Seneca County Probate Court, and was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church. She graduated from Fostoria High School in 1958 and attended Tiffin University where she received an associate's degree in accounting. Nancy was also a member of Seneca County Genealogical Society and was known for personally helping people with genealogical records.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2024, until the time of Nancy's celebration of life at 1 p.m. at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio, 44830. Burial will be at St. Wendelin Catholic Cemetery.
