Nancy J. Nielsen

Nancy J. Nielsen, 89, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday, June 9, 2024, at The Willows of Tiffin.

Nancy was born Dec. 29, 1934, in Tiffin, to George E. and Evelyn (Roper) Ross. She married Donald Nielsen on Aug. 29, 1953, at First Lutheran Church, Tiffin, and he survives in Tiffin.

Nancy's other survivors include her children, Debora (Michael) Pine of Bowling Green, Pamela (Robert) Nielsen-Jeffers of Albany, Ohio, Marcus Nielsen of Tiffin, and Daniel (Connie) Nielsen of Tiffin; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Nancy was a housewife, real estate agent for Den Realty, and owner of the Ice Cream Parlor on Madison Street. She was a member of First Lutheran Church and also attended Tiffin Columbian High School.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Carstens Lowell Jeffers; and brother, Dr. Robert Ross.

Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Friday, June 14, 2024, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tunnel To Towers Foundation.
