Oralia Graber

Oralia "Grandma O" "LaLa" (Rodriguez) Graber, 84, of Pickerington, formerly of New Riegel, passed away Sunday, October 19, 2025, at Wesley Ridge in Reynoldsburg, surrounded by her family.

She was born July 19, 1941, in San Bonita, Texas, to the late Jesus and Carolyn (Martinez) Rodriguez. She married Robert Graber at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Millersville. They divorced, and he survives in New Riegel.

Also surviving are two children, Alicia (David) Graber-Tackett, Pickerington and Robert A. Graber Jr., Illinois; grandchildren, Preston, Emily, Payton, Elena, Nadia and Daniela; and a sister, Ana Rodriguez Leffler, Toledo.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lee Graber; a grandson, Tyler Graber; her little brother, who died at age 7, Martin Rodriguez and other brothers, Paul Rodriguez, Bobby Rodriguez and Delores "LoLo" Martinez; and a sister, Conchita Cantu.

Oralia was a homemaker and worked as a housekeeper at Fremont Memorial Hospital, where she later retired. She was a member of All Saints Parish, New Riegel. Oralia loved tending to flowers and was a devoted grandmother who dearly loved her grandchildren. She was loved by so many with her infectious smile and a heart of gold. She will be dearly missed.

Memorial visitation is noon – 1 p.m. Saturday, November 1, 2025, at HOENING & SON FUNERAL HOME, 133 W. Tiffin St., Fostoria, Ohio 44830, where a memorial service will take place at 1 p.m. with Deacon Greg Siebenaller presiding. A funeral luncheon will follow in the funeral home's reception area. Burial will be at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery, Millersville, at a later date. A celebration of life service will also be at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 2, 2025, at Wesley Ridge Nursing Home Chapel located at 2229 Taylor Park Drive in Reynoldsburg, Ohio 43068, with Chaplain Karen Brantley presiding. Those attending the service in Reynoldsburg are welcome to arrive at 12:30 p.m.

Oralia loved flowers – you are encouraged to send flowers for her services. If you would like to make a memorial contribution in her memory, the family suggests donating to getsinsulin.org, which helps people who struggle to pay for diabetic supplies/medication.

Oralia babysat for our son Orion for awhile when he was little and we lived near her on Virginia Ave in Tiffin. She was wonderful to him and taught me life lessons that remain with me to this day. She was a wonderful person and I´m glad she was a part of our young lives.
