Paul E. Ziegler

Paul E. Ziegler, 91, of Tiffin and former Bloomville and Sycamore resident, entered into eternal life Friday afternoon, Aug. 26, 2022, at Randall Residence of Tiffin.

Paul was born Oct. 1, 1930, in Bloomville, to the late Edward J. and Lorena (Lutz) Ziegler. He married Dorothy M. Beeler on Jan. 30, 1952, in Bloomville, and she preceded him in death Nov. 21, 2015.

Survivors include his five children, Deborah Mullins of Findlay, Edward (Joyce) Ziegler of Bloomville, Kathy (Steve) McGinn of Norwalk, Laurie (Dale) Schwochow Bloomville, and David (Judy Door) Ziegler of Bloomville; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and son, William Ziegler.

Paul was life-long farmer, retiring in 2003. He was a 1948 graduate of Bloom Township High School and member of Sycamore American Legion Post #250 and St. John's (Baseline) United Church of Christ, Bloomville. Paul enjoyed bowling and golfing and recorded a hole-in-one on the 18th hole at Loudon Meadows Golf Club.

It was Paul's wishes that he would have private family graveside services at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville. Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. SR. 19, Bloomville, is assisting family with arrangements.
