Peggy S. Deel

Peggy S. Deel, 64, of Green Springs, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at Clyde Gardens Place.

She was born Nov. 6, 1958, in Fremont, to Clyde and Margie (McClanahan) Deel. Peggy was a 1976 graduate of Clyde High School.

Peggy worked for Progress Plastic for two years before working at Whirlpool as a jeep driver for over 30 years. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clyde. Peggy enjoyed having a good time, but more importantly, loved spending time with her family, friends, and her second family at Whirlpool.

Peggy is survived by her son, John (Catherine) Miller of Surprise, Arizona; grandchildren, Brodie Failor and Devon Failor, both of Surprise, Arizona; expecting great-grandson, Braxton Brady; and sister, Lena (Dana) Emery of Green Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Jimmy Deel; and niece, Terri Shaffer.

Peggy's private graveside service will be at a later date at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
