Sandra Gillett Obituary
Sandra S. Gillett, 60, of Green Springs, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025, at The University of Toledo Medical Center. She was born October 18, 1964, in Fremont, the daughter of Ted and Arlene (McComb) Cleveland. She was a 1983 graduate of Old Fort High School and Tiffin Academy of Hair Design.
Sandy married Joseph Gillett on April 9, 1988, in Old Fort, and he survives. She was a hairdresser for many years, a teacher's aide for preschool special needs students through NCOESC and an auction manager at Bonnigson and Associates.
Sandy was a Cleveland Indians and Ohio State football fan. She was a member of Northern Ohio Draft Ponies Association and enjoyed the Seneca County Fair. Sandy loved spending time with her family and enjoyed cookouts and Christmas.
Sandy is survived by her husband, Jospeh Gillett, Green Springs; children, Lauren (Scott) Whitt, Tiffin, MacKenzie (Mitch) Wise, Green Springs, Laini (Briley Boes) Gillett, Tiffin and Emily Gillett, Newark; grandchildren, Olivia, Carter and Viviana; siblings, Dan (Terri) Cleveland, Green Springs, Darlene (Mike) Adelsperger, Tiffin and Laurie (Craig) Reichert, Attica; brother-in-law, Doug Pence; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dennis Cleveland and Carol Pence.
Visitation will be from 2-4 p.m. Friday, March 28, 2025, with a memorial service at 4 p.m. and additional visitation from 6-8 p.m. at Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, 211 N Broadway St., Green Springs, OH 44836.
A celebration of life will also take place Saturday, March 29, 2025, starting at 3 p.m. at Brad Cleveland's house.
Memorials can be made to Old Fort Church.
