Timothy Vassalle Obituary

Timothy A. Vassalle

Timothy A. Vassalle, 62, of Tiffin, passed away Friday, August 8, 2025, at Bridge Hospice Care Center in Findlay, when his spirit was lifted at 4:20 a.m.

He was born in Tiffin, to Richard and Virenia (Wertz) Vassalle April 9, 1963. In 1982, he married Connie Spero and later divorced.

Tim was one of a kind and a friend to everyone he met. Equal parts caring, talented, and a world-class smart aleck. He had a magnetic personality that drew people in and a heart big enough for everyone.

He was happiest outdoors, whether he was casting a line, hunting in the woods, or tending to his garden and animals. He was a very creative chef, as well. Tim was also a gifted artist, known for his creative painting projects at Tiffin Developmental Center, where he shared his talents, his laughter and his love for the individuals who reside there.

But above all, Tim was a self-taught musician with a soul full of rhythm and a guitar always close by. He played in several bands over the years, including Anthem, Runt, The Mongrels, and Soul Pilot, leaving behind a legacy of music that will echo in our hearts forever. He loved teaching his grandkids the art of music. He was also a founding member of the He-Man Woman Haters Club.

Tim survived by his two children, Tiffany (Brandon) Procaccini and Tecia Vassalle; grandchildren, Aylah and Emerson Hoerig, and Vinny and Josie Procaccini; his beloved girlfriend, Heather Ulmer; as well as siblings, Joseph (Estella) Vassalle, Richard Vassalle, Dominic (Diane) Vassalle, Patrick Vassalle, Mary (Richard) Bridinger, Antonio (Lori) Vassalle, Michael (Raquel Fry) Vassalle, and Annette (Randy) King; and stepsister, Torrie (Dave Wise) Stahl.

Tim was preceded in death by his mother, Virenia; father, Richard; stepmother, Marcia Vassalle; and brother, Danny Vassalle.

A celebration of Tim's life will be at a later date. HUFFORD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 1500 Manor Hill Rd., Findlay, (419-422-1500) is honored to serve Tim's family.

Although the world feels quieter without him, the memories, laughter, and music he leaves behind will live forever-Rock on, Timmy.

Memorial contribu-tions in Tim's name can be made to Tiffin Developmental Center I & E Fund, 600 N Township Rd 73, Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-1450.

I worked with Tim at Tiffin Developmental Center. He was one of the most talented people I know. I always enjoyed his sense of humor. He will truly be missed.
