Wayne A. Kipps

Wayne A. Kipps, 72, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, June 28, 2025, at his residence.

Wayne was born September 6, 1952, in Tiffin, to the late Clarence R. and Margie M. (Simons) Kipps. He married Lynn (Bogart) in Tennessee October 23, 2011, and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include his son, Michael (Michelle) Kipps of Hanover, Pennsylvania; stepchildren, Mike (Sheri) Hawk of Tiffin, Tom (Amanda) Hawk of Green Springs, Melinda (Greg) Kiser of Tiffin, Jamie (Matt Fox) Hall of Bucyrus, and Cody (Brittany) Hall of Fremont; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Larry (Robin) Kipps of Tiffin.

Wayne worked as a carpenter and was a member of Tiffin Eagles. Wayne was a man of many talents; he enjoyed making many woodstrip canoes and Harley-Davidson motorcycles, as well as all types of woodworking.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents.

There will be a Celebration of Wayne's Life from 2-5 p.m. Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Tiffin Eagles in the Hickory room downstairs. Burial will be at Farewell Retreat Cemetery at a later date.

Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting family with their arrangements.
