Angela Cliff Obituary

Angela Yvonne "Angie" Cliff

Angela Yvonne "Angie" Cliff, 64, of rural Tiffin, passed away peacefully Thursday, Oct. 10, 2024, at home.

She was born July 29, 1960, in Columbus, to Robert J. and Carrie (Tester) Acree. She was raised mostly by her stepmother, Rose Acree, who was a guiding light in Angie's life, giving her unwavering support and the only mother she ever knew.

Angie is survived by her husband, Neil Cliff, whom she married Sept. 24, 1994, at their home; two sons, John (Angela) Cliff of Canada and Steven (Karen) Cliff of Canada; stepson, Mike Mongeau of Republic; sisters, Connie (Dave) Bish of Tiffin, Laurie (Dave) Clouse of New Riegel, and Shelly (Bernie) Steinmetz of Tiffin; and brothers, Dan Acree of Tiffin, Tom (Jody) Acree of Westerville, and Scot (Elaine) Acree of New Riegel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepmother, Rose Acree; brother, Mike (Bev) Lucius; sister-in-law, Cindy Acree; and Godson, Ben Bish.

A 1978 graduate of New Riegel High School, Angie pursued her passion for hairstyling and nails, working at Ye Crimpers, Main Sensation, and Relax & Revive. She made a lot of friends in earlier years as a waitress at Frisch's, TJ Willies, and Woody's, always lighting up the room with her infectious personality.

Angie's joy for life was palpable in everything she did. She was the life of every party and had a laugh that was unforgettable. She loved grilling on the patio, where she spent many days with her loyal German Shephard, Tess, by her side. Whether watching wildlife from her patio or enjoying nature, Angie found peace and joy in life's simple pleasures.

Over the years, Angie and Neil enjoyed many road trips, including one to Washington State last year, along with cruises to Alaska and Greece. Angie had a special gift for making friends wherever she went. Her nieces and nephews were especially close to her heart.

Angie's funeral will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, McCutchenville. Visitation will be 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions can be made to the donor's choice in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, Ohio, 44882.

I was shocked to hear of Angie´s passing. We had been friends since 1978. Roommates at one point, back then. We always had a good time together. I moved out of state & we kinda drifted apart. But I always had fond memories of her. Rest in peace, my friend. Until we meet again. Love you girl!

First met Angie when she was a waitress and then she did my nails for several years. Always upbeat, talked about everything and had a beautiful smile! Rest in peace.

As I read the obituary, it makes me think about the first time I ever met Angie. Her and my wife were cousins on the Acree side. Happen to be a family gathering, and she truly was the life of the party with a fantastic loud boastful laugh. She was a joy to be around. I express my deepest condolences to your family and wish you the best through these hard times. Mike Wilkins
