Ann Marie Kummerer

Ann Marie Kummerer, 81, of Toledo, died Friday, Sept. 16, 2022, at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania.

She was born Sept. 22, 1940, in Tiffin, to John and Mary (Fredritz) Loesser. She married John Kummerer and they later divorced.

She is survived by two sons, Douglas Kummerer of Tiffin and Kenneth (Jenny Duenas) Kummerer of Chicago, Illinois; daughter, Pam Kummerer of Toledo; grandson, Jayden Kummerer; and five siblings, Paul Loesser of Tiffin, Margaret Elchert of Marysville, Dave (Anna) Loesser of Sterling Heights, Michigan, Tom (Rita) Loesser of Port Clinton, and Bill (Chris) Loesser of Charlotte, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers, Art, Ed, and Jim Loesser.

Ann was a 1959 Calvert High School graduate. She retired from appliance sales in Toledo. She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Toledo. She was a dedicated mother and loving grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family at gatherings. She was an avid Detroit Tigers and Detroit Red Wings fan.

Visitation for family and friends will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2022, at Traunero Funeral Home and Crematory, 214 S. Monroe Street, Tiffin, Ohio, 44883, (419) 447-3113.

Prayers will be said at the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2022. Funeral Mass will follow at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. Anthony Coci officiating. Burial will immediately follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery. The rosary will be recited 30 minutes prior to Mass at the church.
