Betsy Aikman Obituary

Betsy Lee Aikman

Betsy Lee (Johnson) Aikman, 84, passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Ft Wright, Kentucky. She was born April 29, 1941, in Marysville, to Ross and Eula Mae Johnson. She is survived by her son, Brian Aikman and his wife, Sarah of Independence, Kentucky, her daughter, Ruth Ann (Dull) Gainer of Worthington and Sonny Dull Jr. of Tiffin. Other survivors include a brother, Thomas (Janice) Johnson of Green Springs, and sister-in-law, Marie of Tiffin. Grandchildren, Samantha Mager, Ronald Dull III (JR), Alexander Aikman, Gage Dull; and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted; parents; two brothers, Ronald and Glen; and sister-in-law, Nina.

Betsy attended Old Fort High School and later obtained her beautician license. She owned Hair Affair Salon in Tiffin for many years. Betsy and her husband, Ted, owned Sycamore Tavern in Sycamore. Betsy's favorite passion was quilting and sewing, where she excelled and utilized her talents to teach others.

Per Betsy's request, there will be no public service.

In lieu of flowers, Betsy has requested donations be made in her memory to National Hospice Foundation, www.nationalhospicefoundation.org.
