Henry Tyree Obituary
Henry Tyree, 82, of Green Springs, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023, at his home.
He was born Dec. 25, 1940, in Isom, Kentucky, the son of the late James Ira and Mary (Webb) Tyree.
He was a deacon at Faith Builders Church, Willard. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching western movies, just sitting on his porch, and his Christian faith.
Henry is survived by his children, Delena Rose (Joe) Magers of Republic, Randy Lee (Rhonda) Tyree of Clyde, Ricky Lane (Madeline) Tyree of Republic, and Wesley Allen (Valerie) Tyree of Green Springs; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Paul Tyree of Green Springs, John Tyree of Tiffin, and Don Tyree of North Carolina; and sisters, Marie Morrow of Tennessee, Betty Baker of Clyde, Sue Hill of Tiffin, and Nina Tyree of Green Springs.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy (Collins) Tyree, whom he married Oct. 23, 1962; son, Johnny Henry Tyree; brothers, James Tyree and William Tyree; and sisters, Mildred Gibson, Stella Dunn, and Shirley Menton.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at Foos Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson, Clyde. Henry's funeral will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Butternut Ridge Cemetery.
