Jerry Johnson Obituary
Jerry J. Johnson, 67, of Sycamore, died at 2:22 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Wyandot Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 19, 1955, in Tiffin, to Richard and Helen (Funkhouser) Johnson, who preceded him in death. Jerry never married.
Jerry is survived by many cousins.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Penny Johnson, who died Feb. 22, 1982.
Jerry was a heavy equipment operator, former member of Deunquat Lutheran Church, and 1976 graduate of Mohawk High School. For hobbies, he loved to go fishing, raise flowers around his house, and loved his cat, "Snookems."
Jerry's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Ron Spyker officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions can be made to Sycamore American Legion Ballfield in care of Walton-Moore Funeral Home, P.O. Box 350, Sycamore, Ohio, 44882.
