Joyce M. Hersh

Joyce M. Hersh, 91, of Tiffin, died 6:05 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at Mercy Health - Tiffin Hospital.

She was born March 24, 1934, in Tiffin to Ernest W. and Lydia "Ella" (Parrett) Hersh.

Survivors include a son, Ronald R. (Julie) Hersh of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Glen Hersh, Ray Hersh, Robert Hersh; and a sister, Anita Rau.

Joyce was a graduate of Old Fort High School. She worked in the meat packing industry with Eckrich in Fremont and New Reigel Foods. She enjoyed Ohio State football and basketball, loved cooking, doing word search puzzles and watching The Young and Restless.

Visitation for family and friends will be 9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14, 2026, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883.

Funeral services will follow at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be at Pleasant Union Cemetery, Old Fort.

Memorial contribu-tions may be made to Bettsville Volunteer Fire Department or Humane Society of Seneca County.

The family would like to thank the Bettsville VFD, ProMedica Fremont Hospital, St. Francis Home and Mercy Hospital Tiffin for all their care and compassion shown to Joyce.
