Joyce Mullins Obituary
Joyce E. Mullins, 86, of rural Bloomville, died at 2:45 p.m. Friday, July 5, 2024, at Autumnwood Care Center, Tiffin.
She was born July 27, 1937, in Eden Township, Seneca County, to Bert and Hazel (Shock) Geary. Joyce married Aster Mullins Sr. on Dec. 24, 1958, and he preceded her in death March 9, 1994.
She is survived by her son, Aster (Kay) Mullins Jr. of rural Bloomville; three grandchildren, Joyce (Blake) Booker and Mike and Robert Birch; and six great-grandchildren, Kaylene, Zane, Jett, Phoenix, Bexley, and Silar.
Joyce was also preceded in death by her daughter, Barbara Sue Mullins; sister, Dorothy Minter; brother, Wilbur Geary; and two brothers in infancy.
She was a homemaker and former member of St. John's Baseline United Church of Christ, rural Bloomville.
Joyce's funeral will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Darrin Harvey officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery. Visitation will be 1-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
