Julia K. Von Blon

Julia K. Von Blon, 34, of rural Fostoria, died Monday, Oct. 7, 2024, at home.

She was born March 14, 1990, in Findlay, to Robert W. and Terry E. (Goodman) Von Blon. Her father resides in McCutchenville and her mother in Upper Sandusky. Julia was never married.

Julia is also survived by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Goodman of Sycamore; maternal grandfather, Gene Goodman of Deshler; two sisters, Renee (Bill) Von Phelps of Galion and Natalie Von Blon of McCutchenville; and brother, Ethan Von Blon of Sycamore.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Gene and Carol Ann Von Blon; and stepgrandmother, Linda Goodman.

Julia was a waitress, 2008 graduate of Mohawk High School, and attended Brown Mackie College in Findlay. For hobbies, Julia loved to go to Lake Erie to go fishing, play cards, enjoyed her pets (especially her cats), and loved to sit around a campfire for some good conversation.

Julia's memorial service will be 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, 2024, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
