June Scott Obituary
June M. Scott, 90, formerly of Sycamore, died at 1:10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2023, at The Willows of Tiffin.
She was born June 9, 1932, in Stirrat, West Virginia, to Hugh and Irene (Fraley) Gilliam. She married Clifford G. Scott on Aug. 22, 1947, and he died Nov. 12, 2021.
June is survived by her children, Gordon (Becky) Scott of Cabool, Missouri, Jeff Scott of rural Sycamore, David Scott of Tennessee, Sherry (George) Scott of Fostoria, Teresa Jones of Bloomville, and Jonathan (Ann) Scott of rural Sycamore; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Irene Fegley; three grandchildren; sister, Juanita Atha; and brother, James Gilliam.
June was a retired school bus driver and homemaker, member of Old Paths Baptist Church, rural Bucyrus, member of Red Hats Society, member of Ohio Sheep Shearer Association, and was a scorer for their sheep shearing contests. For hobbies, she loved to crochet and do afghans.
June's funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday, March 4, 2023, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Old Mission Cemetery, Upper Sandusky. Visitation will be 11 a.m. 1 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
