Keith Tschanen

Keith B. Tschanen, 82, of rural Sycamore, died at 5:00 p.m. Monday, July 25, 2022, at home. He was born Sept. 4, 1939, in Sycamore, to Arthur B. and Ethel (Adams) Tschanen. He married Judy L. (Duff) Tschanen on Sept. 21, 1978, and she survives in rural Sycamore.

Surviving are the following children, Chris (Michelle) Tschanen of rural Sycamore, David (Penny) Tschanen of rural Sycamore, and Cindy (Zane) Buxton of Granville; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Francis (Donna) Tschanen of rural Sycamore. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Julie Collins, who died in September, 2020.

Keith was a retired millwright, retiring from General Dynamics, Lima, Ohio. He also at one time farmed and also worked many years for Stover Farms of rural Sycamore.

Keith was a 1957 graduate of Sycamore High School, member of First Baptist Church, Upper Sandusky, member of Sycamore American Legion Post #250, and also served his country in U.S. Army from 1962-1964. For hobbies, he loved to go the Tractor Pulls and at one time, he had his own tractor to pull. He also was an avid Ohio State fan.

A memorial graveside service for Keith will be 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, west of Sycamore with Pastor Josh Swinehart officiating. Sycamore American Legion Post will conduct a military graveside service for Keith.
