Otto J. Klingshirn

Otto J. Klingshirn, 75, of Tiffin, died at 9:59 p.m. Thursday, September 4, 2025, at his residence. Otto was born August 3, 1950, in Tiffin, to Otto and Gertrude (Kirian) Klingshirn. On August 23, 1975, he married Julie A. McIntyre, and she survives in Tiffin.

Other survivors include a daughter, Angela J. (Larry) Laugherty of Tiffin; Kevin J. (Tom ClingenPeel) Klingshirn of Columbus; two grandchildren, Kayla C. Sanchez and Julie (Jimmy) Ratliff; three stepgrandchildren; four great-grandchildren, eight stepgreat-grandchildren; a brother, James Michael Klingshirn of Bascom; three sisters, Anna Schoowe of Huron, Helen Strubum of Sandusky, and Mary Medine of Colorado; three brothers-in-law, Joe (Sherry) McIntyre of Bowling Green, Richard McIntyre, Robert McIntyre both of Tiffin, and a sister-in-law, Norma Costilla of Bowling Green.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Lora Lee Klingshirn; a grandson, Zackary David Sanchez; and a brother, John Klingshirn.

Otto was a 1968 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam, worked at Hayes-Albion Company and later at Webster Manufacturing Company. Otto was an avid NASCAR, Detroit Tigers and Las Vegas Raiders fan. He loved spending time with his family.

Visitation for family and friends will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday, September 9, 2025, at TRAUNERO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATORY, 214 S. Monroe St., Tiffin, Ohio 44883. (419)447-3113. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with Chaplain Mike Porter officiating. Burial will follow at Seneca Memory Gardens with military rites by Seneca United Veterans Council.
