Robert Fredritz Obituary

Robert H. "Bob" Fredritz

Robert H. "Bob" Fredritz, 68, passed away Tuesday, July 25, 2023, in New Orleans, Louisiana.

He was a native and resident of Carey, enjoying his winters in New Orleans, Louisiana. Bob was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church where he was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Carey High School in 1972. Bob owned and operated many businesses, but most notably Carey Body Shop and Wrecker Service in addition to farming his entire life. He was a member of VFW, American Legion, Carey Eagles, Moose Lodge, and Elks Lodge. Bob enjoyed socializing, boating, golfing, and visiting friends and family.

He is survived by his wife of 48 Years, Marsha (Welly) Fredritz of Carey; son, Robert "Bobby" Fredritz II and wife Kelly of Metairie, Louisiana; daughter, April Bianchi and husband Jesse of Carey; and grandchildren, Nellie, Nehemiah, Lincoln, Lizah, and Scarlett.

A celebration of life will be at a later date in Carey.
