Robert Pauley Obituary
Robert R. Pauley,74, of Sycamore, died at 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 27, 2024, at home. He was born Aug. 29, 1950, in Kanawha County, West Virginia, to Charles and Anna (Stewart) Pauley. He married Yvonne (Brewer) Pauley on Dec. 18, 1994 and she survives in Sycamore.
Surviving are his children, Belinda (Steve) Holman of rural Sycamore, Greg (Lisa) Pauley of rural Sycamore, Bryan (Dana) Swartz of Upper Sandusky and Stephanie (Nick) Hufford of rural Tiffin; four grandchildren, Wyatt Swartz, Carson, Cameron and Chase Hufford; a sister, Roxana (Eugene) Parsons of Eolia, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Diana Swartz; a sister, Loretta Morgan; and six brothers, Charles, Paul, Richard, Larry, Eddie and Ronald Pauley.
Robert had worked for twenty years at the former Komatsu Dresser in Galion, was a mechanic at Rall's Automotive, and also started up with his nephew, Pauley's Auto and Lawnmower Repair. For hobbies, Robert loved to watch old TV shows like Gunsmoke and the Rifleman.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2024, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Charles McGlone officiating. Burial will follow at Bento n Cemetery. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, at the funeral home.
