William F. Adams

William F. Adams, 90, formerly of Lima, died at 5:35 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, 2023, at Fox Run Manor, Findlay.

He was born Oct. 31, 1932, in Sycamore, to Richard and Naomi (Burg) Adams. He married Carol (Heckerd) Adams and she passed away.

William is survived by his children, Cindy Kohlhorst of Ocala, Florida, and Rick Adams of Sturgis, Michigan; three grandsons, Kris Adams, Adam Haman, and Brandon Haman; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kris Adams; and sister who died in infancy, Betty Jane Adams.

William was a retired Zoning Board Administrator in LaGrange, Indiana. He was a 1950 graduate of Columbian High School and former member of Bloomville and LaGrange American Legion Posts. He also served his country in U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

William's funeral will be 11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at Walton-Moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, with the Rev. Amy Vittorio officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant View Cemetery where Sycamore American Legion Post # 250 will conduct a military graveside service. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 3, 2023, at the funeral home.
