Judith Von Blon

Judith R. Von Blon, 81, of rural Tiffin, died at 8:30 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2023, at Elmwood at the Shawhan, Tiffin.

She was born April 22, 1942, in Ravenna, to Raymond and Geraldine (Whittam) McDaniel. She married Ronald E. Von Blon on Oct. 24, 1964, and he died March 29, 2013.

Judith is survived by two sons, Ted E. Von Blon of rural Tiffin and and Eric (Elizabeth) Von Blon of Ann Arbor, Michigan; two granddaughters, Ashley and Keira Von Blon; and sister, Regina Washbaugh of Port St. Joe, Florida.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome McDaniel; parents; and husband.

Judith was co-owner at one time of Grand Rental Station, Tiffin, with her husband, Ron. She was a former member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, Tiffin.

Judith was a 1960 graduate of Windham High School and 1962 graduate of Tiffin University. Judith really loved her sons and especially loved to be around her granddaughters.

Graveside services for Judith will be 2 p.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, at Pleasant View Cemetery, Sycamore, with Dwain Sayre speaking.
